Rachel qualified as a dentist from Trinity College Dublin in 2009 and worked in private practice in Dublin as an associate dentist for the next 5 years. During this time she practised all aspects of dentistry and was awarded membership to the faculty of Dentistry of Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

She moved to Australia with her fiancé in 2015 and spent the next 4 years working in general practices in Far North Queensland realising her passion for aesthetic and paediatric dentistry.
Since moving to the Gold Coast in 2019 she has completed additional training in Composite Veneers and Invisalign/Spark aligner accreditation. She truly enjoys enhancing her patient’s natural smiles using conservative techniques with the best materials.

She is currently studying for her diploma in clear aligner therapy with the Digital Orthodontic College and is looking forward to offering the best performing aligner systems to her patients at Robina Quays Dental Care.

When not at work you can find Rachel on the Golf course, going to Pilates and enjoying the amazing beaches around the Gold Coast.

Dr Tanya graduated in 1993 from the University of Otago (NZ).

Over her 29 year career in dentistry, she has worked in NZ in both private and government sectors, spent time working in England and has been working in Australia for the last 18 years. She has run her own practices in NZ and Australia.

Dr Tanya enjoys all areas of general, family and cosmetic dentistry.

Things she finds most rewarding are:

• Improving patients smiles with cosmetic dentistry to install more confidence in people.
• Helping anxious patients get through treatment in a gentle and calming way.
• Working with children to create positive dental experiences, from an early age to encourage a life time of excellent dental health through prevention.

Dr Tanya is an active member of several dental study groups and of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and likes to keep up with new techniques and changes in the industry by attending continuing education courses regularly.

When she is not working she enjoys travel, spending time with friends and family, yoga, kayaking and bike rides.

Samantha Carrington graduated from the University of Manchester in the U.K. in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Science where she was awarded the prize for professionalism.

Sami worked in Manchester UK for many years until she emigrated to the Gold Coast in November 2017. She is passionate and motivated in her profession and has vast experience in complex periodontal cases (including post-implant treatment).

Sami enjoys working with patients to achieve their optimum oral health and educating patients on how it affects their overall health. She is especially skilled in helping nervous patients gradually relax and overcome their fears.

In her spare time, Sami is kept busy with her three children Luke, Sophia and Arabella. She enjoys keeping fit and loves spending any spare time at her favourite place – the beach.
